Hi, people of wherever the setting is now. In truth I've been able to return for quite some time, but I couldn't find the motivation to...well...return here. I've wanted to, but I couldn't.
I wanted to be a "special snowflake" in some way, shape, form, or other, and Mesalia was not going to let me do that. I still do, by the way, as do most people I'm sure (hoping, actually, that I'm not alone in that assumption...~).
I've visited the website off and on to skim over and check on things, and a little while ago I found that the setting is changing once again... this complicates things.
I can't find anywhere in the lore, unless its' been added under my nose, as to what's happened or where the people are now, and where that is in relation to - well - everything else. Coastal, inland, etc. (i'm hoping coastal so that this might be easier...)
Maybe I've just missed the important threads regarding the change or maybe I'm just lazy and didn't read the threads thoroughly enough, which I'm sure might be the case.
Anyway, in the last day or so (10 minutes) I've decided I'm going to not only cease my efforts of stuffing as much special sauce into my character as possible (not to say I won't strive to make them unique, just not...the brand of unique I'm sure most of you are familiar with that comes from yours truly), but I'm going to kneel to the overlords listen to the staff and finally just make a male character.
The simplest of simple ideas, which will become apparent soon.
The main question I want to ask is, how do I get to the new settlement and what is it called? I've been meaning to come back earlier, but then I saw that the settings were shifting and I decided it'd be best to wait.
And while I'm at it, give me any relevant information that I should know before going forth with my new and improved application which will not be nearly as rage-inducingly hair-pullingly eye-gougingly stomach-turning garbage as my other applications have been.
