Make sure to make mention of these and following events in your character's backstory. Speaking of backstory, it needs to end with either your character arriving in or travelling to where the setting takes place. For ease of reference, it's a town called Nightveil."
This part is copy and pasted from most of the forums, and my character fits all of these. Second, my character isn't 20, he's 18. Third, he was taken away by a rebellious group that was in between around ten or twenty men, many groups like these probably exists already and no one would be aware, seeing how they're not a real threat, just people believeing in their own way of doing things. My character does actually end up getting in a boat, and I'm very surprised you just copy pasted this part, not even bothering to read my backstory. I already mentioned when my character was born, and I honestly see no reason to add parts where he hears about the war. Living a life span of 18 years, he has obviously learnt about it.
The only part I see that needs to be fixed from your comments is why he'd get into the boat. I'll edit that. Other than that, I honestly don't see anything not fitting the explanation you gave to me.
