Why do you want to join?
Well, I have had a lot of experience in roleplaying (as I state in the next question) and I figured it was time to expand my horizon a bit.
Do you have any RP'ing experience?
(NOTE: I went a bit all-out with this part... sorry about that :3)
I have quite a bit of experience, actually.
As a kid, I used to play World of Warcraft (back when I didn’t understand all of what was actually about) and I absolutely adored the variety of medieval outfits; my favorite style of clothing. My family all had their own toons, so I would take some of their gold and buy tons of dresses and stuff. As I grew up, I started to realize that I really enjoyed acting like someone else, and, as silly as I am, tried to RP on a PVP realm. That was of course back when I hadn’t known there even WAS reals specifically for RP, so I was so excited when I found that out. My dad payed to transfer my favorite toon over and I started to RP. After a month or so, I was getting really frustrated that no one was taking RP seriously. My friend had shown me a Yogscast video of Survival Island, and I fell in love with minecraft. I bought it and started getting really, really good at it; Albeit, it took a long while. I started basing my builds off of medieval buildings, tried making towns, but I just never got really interested in it. Finally, my buddy from WoW told me about a server called “Crafthammer”. I was soooo excited- I never thought that anyone would roleplay on minecraft! I immediately made an application, and got accepted. I joined that server around the end of the first map, and by the fourth map, I was a moderator (Well, I became a mod because of perms issues, but the other mods/admins accepted me as a regular mod. ^u^)
Sadly, after the fourth map, Crafthammer’s fourth map came to an end. I found out maybe a month later that it was most likely not coming back, so I set off to join another server. I found a server that was named, I think, Beetlejuice. It was pretty alright, but the map was way too big, the mobs were set on hard, the days were shorter than normal, it was underpopulated, and their were rarely any events. I once more set off to a new server. Many of my friends that I had met on Crafthammer (who have actually become some of the greatest people I know) told me about Lord Of The Craft. I had already applied in the past, but had gotten really frustrated when I wasn’t accepted my first time. After I found that most of them were on the server, I forced myself into reapplying and I was accepted! I was accepted to Lord Of The Craft on the 22nd of May this year, and have held a stable character for a bit less than four months. It feels like it has been much longer than that, seeing how much the character has developed.

Your Character Biography:
Name: Lavinia Warren
Age: 21
Race: Mesalian
Occupation: Bard
Appearance/Description: Lavinia has soft grey eyes, which greatly contravene with her bright, red hair. Her father always said her eyes and hair were in a constant war of iridescence, fighting for a persons recognition. Her physique is lissome, seeing as she was given the straining task of keeping a sharp eye on her younger brother Liam. Her skin seems soft to the touch, the coloration fairly light. Her cheeks are normally very rosy, matching suitably with her hair. She wears a simple peasants dress- one of which used to belong to her mother.
Skin: http://www.minecraftskins.com/skin/26440...a-and-eva/
Backstory: Lavinia sailed over to the Forbidden Lands when she was only a year old. Although she was unable to comprehend what was happening in her surroundings at the time, she gradually became able to understand it as she grew. For some time, she had an indubitable interest in the history of her people. As time went on, her enthusiasm for learning about the past dwindled down to nothing. Music become a significant part of her life. On her 13th birthday, her father bought her a lute that she fell in love with. It was with her all of the time (with the exception of sleeping, bathing, etc.) Her parents also exposed that Lavinia’s mother Theresa was pregnant. Although, Lavinia was very upset at this, as she had quite enjoyed being an only child.
Nine months later, Lavinia’s baby brother Liam was born. He was quite a handful- he consistently kept the household busy, seemed to always be crying, and was overall a pain in the butt. Lavinia’s dislike for her baby brother did not cease- but as they grew together, they formed the mutual brother-sister bond.
As Lavinia matured, her musical skills followed right behind. She revealed that she had a very enchanting singing voice. The townspeople described it as graceful and delicate, yet energetic and meaningful.
Times began to grow hard in her family. Lavinia’s mother had passed on a few months after Lavinia turned 19. Her father was barely getting enough income, and Liam was growing ill. After giving it thought, Lavinia chose to go work as the local tavern’s bard. The pay was mostly from tips, but it did help her family land back on their feet.
Two years went by and Lavinia decided it was time to set off on her own. She had forged many bonds with people who came to the tavern, but knew it was time to start branching off to a new place. Her closest friend, Jinora, was once again trying to convince her to stay.
“Come on, Lavinia,” Jinora pleaded. “You already have a job here. And you’ll have to leave your family and friends behind.”
Lavinia frowned. “Jinora, I know... I don’t want to, but if I plan on getting started with my life-”
Jinora cut her off, shouting, “So you don’t think you have a life started here?!”
“No... I didn’t mean that. I just want to move on with what I have now. I can’t benefit from being here any longer.” The sadness in Jinora’s face was so visible, it practically smacked Lavinia in the face. They both stayed quiet for what seemed like centuries before Lavinia spoke up again. “Listen...” She murmured. “I know, it really sucks... But I can’t stay here anymore, and nothing will change that. I sure will miss you, Jinora... but this is for the best.”
Tears started to stream down Jinora’s face as she laughed sadly. “You’re making it sound like you’re breaking up with me.” Lavinia wrapped her arms around Jinora, now crying herself.
“I’ll miss you, Jinora.”
“I’ll miss you, too, Lavinia.”
