The abandoned mercenary camp

Just South of Nightveil, on the mountainside and overlooking the lake, the mercenaries Kip and Marcus set up camp after they one morning successfully kidnapped young Avery Martillo. It is where the duo and their captive were found by the searching townsfolk. The following struggle saw Kip killed in a fall down the mountain after being tackled by Avery and Marcus knocked out and captured. Ever since this day, the camp stands abandoned. Kip rests at the graveyard whilst Marcus currently work as a spy for Nightveil.

The Mining Camp



The mining camp lies just beyond the fair, or marketplace, and hosts the miners of Nightveil if they so wish. It rests at the feet of one of the tower-ruins, remains of a long-lost wall that once protected the town. Aside from temporarily storing the fruits of the mining, the camp holds a smelter and a cosy campfire. Surrounded by forest and at the very outskirts of town, the camp may at times be a bit more dangerous and subject to dusk invasions when comparing to other parts of town. It has at least once been swarmed with dusk pouring from the mines, but ever since the guards made a valiant effort to secure the mines the camp has remained safer and calmer.
